Satellite internet services
We are offering shared bandwidth services, which means that more users are sharing the same bandwidth.
We offer two services:

Concentration ratio means:
that 20 users are placed on 1Mb channel. This means that if 19 users do not have any traffic,
the 20th user will have 1Mbps speed, but this of course happens rarely.
However this concentration ratio offers good quality.
For ensuring good quality for all users, we have a FAP engine in place (Far Access Policy).
How does FAP work when actived, and for how long?
- When a user is abusing the service, making a large file download, the FAP
activates itself automatically.
- Making a traffic bigger than 300 Mb at a constant speed over 100 kbps will
activate FAP on PS 20 service.
- Making a traffic bigger than 100 Mb at a constant speed over 64 kbps will
activate FAP on PS 40 service.
- FAP automaticaly deactivates itself when the traffic pattern returns to
normal.
- There is no limited number of FAP activation or deactivation.
Each services use one of the well known authetification methods: VPN or full route technology.
Each service offers one real internet IP which can present a big help for you.
Firewall IT is also ready and in place for protecting your bandwidth and improving the performance.
From inside to outside everything is allowed except trojans and viruses. From outside to inside
everything is closed, except for a few well known ports.
Small changes are also possible to be done free of charge.

Suport
Our accounts can be used on any OS if you have the knowledge to set it up correctly.
We offer official support only for Windows users, but the majority of our customers
use Unix and Linux
Because we don't offer support for Linux based operating systems we advice you to follow these steps:

- 1. take a test account and use it on windows 98 or windows 2000 to become
familiar with the service's performance and to see for yourself that it's working.
- 2. if you need the satellite service to be installed and running on linux based
machines we recommand you to ask for a second test account. You will now have the
opportunity to test the satellite service on the environment you intend to use. If
the precise and final environment you need to have the satellite service is on a proxy
server of an email server we recommand you to use this second account.
Please be carefull and do not spend all your traffic in first day. Because you can get
2 test accounts per month.
Because of our network design, you can count on the fact that you receive the same performance
on a test account as on a commercial one. We do not want to dissapoint you by offering a superb
quality test account and a very poor comercial acount, so you can be sure you will receive the
same performance on test accounts as comercial, of course with the quantity limitation of 40 Mb
already specified.
